Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Ceylon Guide's services, creating an account, or making a booking, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.
Services & Delivery Policy
Ceylon Guide operates as a directory and advertising platform.
- Featured Listings: Service providers (Tour Guides, Operators, etc.) may pay a fee to feature their profiles. This service is considered "Delivered" immediately upon the listing appearing in the designated featured sections of the website.
- Tour Bookings: Ceylon Guide facilitates connections but is NOT a travel agency. We do not handle tour bookings, itinerary scheduling, or payments for tours directly. All tour arrangements are made directly between the Traveler and the Service Provider.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
For Featured Listings (Service Providers):
Payments made for Featured Listings or Subscription plans are for digital advertising services. Once the service is active (listing is featured), fees are generally non-refundable. However, in cases of technical error (e.g., double charge), please contact support within 7 days for a full refund via the original payment method (PayHere).
For Tour Bookings (Travelers):
Since Ceylon Guide does not process tour payments, we do not handle refunds for tour cancellations. You must refer to the specific cancellation policy of the Tour Operator or Guide you booked with. We are not liable for any funds transferred directly to service providers.
User Conduct & Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use the Service:
- To violate any laws or regulations.
- To send unsolicited messaging or spam via our WhatsApp integration.
- To impersonate others or provide false information.
- To attempt to bypass security measures or access data not intended for you.
Liability Limitations
Ceylon Guide acts as an intermediary. We are not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of independent tour operators or for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages or expenses resulting there from.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
